Steinar Karlsen is well known in Norway as leadguitarist
and songwriter in Norwegian blues/rock bands like Hot Little Mama
and Norwegian Grammy nominee Good Time Charlie.
With his first solo album he is taking a step towards twang, inspired
by artist like Mickey Baker, Link Wray & Marc Ribot. The result is an eclectic
instrumental album with lots of original ideas.
Ten origianl tracks makes the album. Together with Karlsen is bassplayer
Morten Skage (Sondre Lerche) and drummer Kåre Opheim (Real Ones, Marit Larsen).
Tom Gibson (James Taylor, Faith Hill) and Lee King (Don Henley, The Temptations)
is the horn section on two tracks. The album is produced by Karlsen and Skage.
